Dan's musical training has been wide and varied.  After starting to learn the piano at the age of seven, he was accepted into the choir at Liverpool Cathedral and spent six years singing under the direction of Prof. Ian Tracey.  On leaving the choir, he went on to study the organ with Ian Wells, and after spending two years as the organ scholar, he is now the Cathedral's sub-organist.  He also teaches music, music technology, sound recording and songwriting at Liverpool College where he also trains the CCF Corps of Drums.
While studying music and music technology at Huddersfield University, Dan specialised in electro-acoustic music and composition.  He has played and appeared in a number of concerts in the Liverpool area, and has written and arranged music for various organisations including the Myriad Theatre Company, where he was Musical Director until its closure in 2008.  In August 2009, he completed a recital tour of Pennsylvania, USA.
Daniel is available as a songwriter/composer for commissions of any kind, and also as a singer/pianist for any occasion from wedding receptions and other functions to full-blown concerts.  Please see the news page for current info, and please get in touch via the contact form for bookings or if you require any further information.
